A Living Hope in the Storms of Life

A friend of mine recently shared this picture, and it was so beautifully written, that I had to share it with you all!

I am naturally an encourager, bubbly and positive person, but I have moments, days, weeks, and seasons where I am not so positive and encouraging. In times like that, I am beyond grateful for the people God has placed in my life that I can call on to hold my hands up as Aaron and Hur did for Moses! They pray a sista through and speak the word of God over my life.

In this life, we will have many trials, troubles, detours, and obstacles, but Jesus has told us that in Him, we can have peace no matter the circumstances. We draw from the word of God as living water to refresh us and reset our focus to where it should be - on the Lord, His word, and His will for our lives.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory - 2 Corinthians 4:8

As I continue walking with the Lord, I see more and more that God truly does work ALL things together for the good! I've observed that storms refine our character, faith, and commitment.

If you are going through a storm or a season where its trials on the one side and problems on the other side; these momentary afflictions don't compare to what God has in store for His children. Be encouraged! Life happens to us all, but we have a living hope, and that hope will not be disappointed!
