Is Your Life in Good Hands? - Worship

Have you ever just sat in awe of the goodness of God? On my way to run an errand the other day, My Life Is in Your Hands by Kirk Franklin bubbled up my spirit. I haven't this song in years, but it is fitting and on time for this season. The song is simple yet powerful, and with each repeat, I became more overwhelmed by the Lord's presence.

Look back at all things in your life - the good, bad, and ugly things. God was there, you may not have always felt Him, but He was there. Nothing you have gone through has escaped His sight (Hebrews 4:13).

We must be bold and unrelenting when it comes to knowing that God is good, and His will is perfect - even when it doesn't work out the way we expect. Not our will, but His will be done! May this song bless you and encourage you as you continue to praise and press on.

In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ - 1 Peter 1: 6-9

Let's Praise & Worship Our Father

If you have accepted Christ as your Lord and Savior your life is not your own, you have been brought with a price. Your life is in God's hands - the best hand to be in!

  • For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning - Psalm 30:5

  • The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall, I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27: 1

Sisters, Let Us Pray

Heavenly Father,

You have told us in this world that we would have troubles, but you also encourage us to take heart because You have overcome the world. Sometimes, this is easier said than done, but I chose to bless your Holy name and find comfort in your promises. You are faithful and I know that no matter what happens on this side of time, You are with me. Your plans for me are still good, and there is nothing in my life that hasn't been filtered through your loving hands. When I am discouraged - bring your words of living water back to remembrance so that I can press onward by faith. As David recalled the victories you gave him, so do I! You have brought me out, and you will do so again. I bless your name for you are more than worthy. Amen!
